Information about the Chinese Panda
The Mint of the People's Republic of China introduced the Golden Chinese Panda in 1982, changing the design of the coin every year. The front of the coin features the Temple of Heaven, a complex built in the early 15th century during the ruling of Emperor Yongle, and the back side features one or more pandas. It is produced by the People's Bank of China through the Shenzhen Guobao Mint. It is available in weights of 30 gram, 15 gram, 8 gram, 3 gram and 1 gram.
